Rebates
Millions of Australian households are eligible for electricity rebates. Most never claim them.
Not because they don't qualify. Because nobody told them the rebates existed, or made it clear how to apply.
Your Coach checks every rebate available in your state, tells you which ones you're eligible for, and gives you the steps and call scripts to claim them. Part of the $29 Bill Action Plan.

The rebate system is administered by state governments, applied through electricity retailers, and updated on different schedules in different states. It requires you to know the rebate exists, to know you're eligible, to contact your retailer or the relevant government agency, and to navigate a process that varies by state and card type.
Most households on concession cards assume their retailer has applied the relevant discounts automatically. Often they haven't. Some retailers apply concessions only if you tell them you're eligible. Others require an annual renewal. Others apply the wrong rebate or miss one entirely.
Your Coach checks all of this against your bill. If a rebate you're eligible for isn't showing up, your Coach tells you exactly what to do and what to say.

How the Coach helps
How does the Coach check your rebates?
When you upload your bill, your Coach reads every charge applied to your account and checks it against the rebate programs active in your state. If you're eligible for a rebate that isn't showing up, your Coach flags it and gives you:
- The name of the rebate and how much it's worth
- The application method — online, phone, or through your retailer
- A word-for-word call script if a phone call is required
- The relevant government link if an online form applies
Your Coach also cross-checks whether concession card holders have had all their eligible rebates applied — the most common gap we find.
