>Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders

>Must be the account holder or their partner

How to apply

1.Call your electricity retailer and provide your Commonwealth Seniors Health Card number

2.Or apply through Service NSW on 13 77 88

Common mistakes

The Seniors Energy Rebate uses the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card — not the NSW Seniors Card (which is different)

If you also hold a Pensioner Concession Card, the Low Income Household Rebate ($285) is usually a better choice

Combining with other rebates

Cannot be combined with the Low Income Household Rebate. Can be combined with the Family Energy Rebate and Medical Energy Rebate.
